Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治耳鳴欲聾. 黃栢八兩, 剉, 人乳拌勻, 曬乾, 再用鹽水炒褐色. 右搗爲末, 水丸梧子大, 空心鹽湯下百丸. 一名獨勝丸. 《醫鑑》

Translation

Treats ringing in the ears turning to deafness. Phellodendron 8 nyang, cut up, mixed evenly with human milk and dried in the sun, then fried in salt water to a brown colour. Pound and powder it, make water pills the size of a firmiana seed, and take a hundred on an empty stomach with salt decoction. Also called Solitary Victory Pill. — Gogeum Uigam 醫鑑 (Donguibogam · I)
