Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治內痔久漏, 取膿最妙. 焰硝 三兩, 苦參 一兩半. 右爲末, 用布四寸長ㆍ三寸闊, 縫一袋, 入藥半袋, 以砒 三分放藥末中間, 方入全藥裝滿, 縫袋中兩頭安帶子, 如繫馬繫住. 《入門》
Translation
Treats an inner pile with long fistula; drawing the pus out is its best use. Saltpetre 3 nyang; flavescent sophora 1 nyang 5 don. Powder them; sew a bag of cloth four chon long and three chon wide, fill it half with the powder, set 3 pun of arsenic in the middle of it, then fill the bag with the rest and sew it up, putting ties at both ends and fastening it in place as one tethers a horse.
