Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治喉閉腫痛. 綠礬 五錢(入靑魚膽內風乾), 巴豆 七箇(去殼), 朴硝 二錢半, 煆硏銅靑 一錢, 輕粉 五分, 靑黛少許. 右將膽礬同巴豆於銅銚內飛過, 去巴豆, 合朴硝等四味, 再入麝香少許. 每用一字吹入喉中, 吐出痰血立愈. 《正傳》

Translation

Treats a closed throat swollen and painful. Green vitriol 5 don, put inside a black carp's gall and wind-dried; seven croton kernels, shelled; mirabilite 2 don 5 pun; verdigris calcined and ground 1 don; calomel 5 pun; a little indigo. Float the vitriol with the croton in a copper pan, discard the croton, combine with the mirabilite and the other three, and add a little musk. Blow 1 ja at a time into the throat, and the phlegm and blood are vomited out and it heals at once. — Uihak Jeongjeon 正傳 (Donguibogam · Inhu)
