Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
防血暈. 墨半錠燒赤, 投醋中, 硏細, 每五分, 淡醋湯調下, 卽效. 《良方》
Translation
Guards against blood dizziness. Half an ink-cake burnt red and thrown into vinegar, then ground fine; take 5 pun at a time stirred into weak vinegar decoction, and the effect follows. — Buin Daejeon Yangbang 良方 (Donguibogam · Buin)
Clinical commentary 臨床
防 rather than 治 — this is given before the collapse rather than after, and it is the only preventive entry among the five.
