Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治月候不調, 結成癥瘕, 或骨蒸發熱. 香附米 十四兩, 分七包. 一包, 同當歸二兩, 酒浸. 二包, 同蓬朮二兩, 童便浸. 三包, 同牡丹皮ㆍ艾葉 各一兩, 米泔浸. 四包, 同烏藥二兩, 米泔浸. 五包, 同川芎ㆍ玄胡索 各一兩, 水浸. 六包, 同三稜ㆍ柴胡 各一兩, 醋浸. 七包, 同紅花ㆍ烏梅 各一兩, 鹽水浸. 右各浸, 春五, 夏三, 秋七, 冬十日, 曬乾只取香附爲末. 以浸藥水打糊和丸梧子大, 臨臥, 酒下八十丸. 《入門》
Translation
Treats menses out of order forming concretions and conglomerations, or steaming bone fever. Cyperus 14 nyang divided into seven packets. Packet one steeped in wine with 2 nyang of angelica. Packet two steeped in child's urine with 2 nyang of curcuma. Packet three steeped in rice-washing water with moutan bark and mugwort leaf 1 nyang each. Packet four steeped in rice-washing water with 2 nyang of lindera. Packet five steeped in water with chuanxiong and corydalis 1 nyang each. Packet six steeped in vinegar with sparganium and bupleurum 1 nyang each. Packet seven steeped in salt water with safflower and mume 1 nyang each. Steep each — five days in spring, three in summer, seven in autumn, ten in winter — then sun-dry and take only the cyperus, powdered. Make paste with the water the medicines were steeped in and form pills the size of a firmiana seed; at bedtime take eighty down with wine. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Po)
