Clinical commentary 臨床

The mildest of the yin toxin formulas and the only one with no mineral in it. Tangkuei alongside the aconite is what distinguishes it: the others force the yang and this one feeds the blood while it does so, which suits a patient who is cold because he is empty rather than because he is obstructed. Both aconites are blast-fried and the doses are moderate. Of this group it is the one a cautious practitioner would have reached for first. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
