Clinical commentary 臨床

The formula for the case the section at 3.8.2.2 defines as wind prevailing: the defence is vacuous, sweat comes of itself, the breath is short and the patient will not take off their clothes for fear of wind. Astragalus secures what is open while stephania drains what has pooled. Where every other formula in this section opens the surface, this one closes it. The discriminating sign is the sweating. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
