Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
鬱金ㆍ滑石ㆍ川芎 各等分. 右爲末, 每二錢, 虀汁調服. 《丹心》
Translation
Turmeric root tuber, talc and chuanxiong in equal parts. Powder them and take 2 don at a dose stirred into sour pickle brine. — Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · To)
Clinical commentary 臨床
The one formula in the section with no melon stalk and no false hellebore in it. None of the three medicinals is an emetic in itself, so the vomiting must come from the sour brine and the volume.
