吐痰輕劑也. 赤小豆ㆍ苦參. 右爲末, 酸漿水調服, 鵝翎探之. 《綱目》
Translation
A light preparation for vomiting phlegm. Adzuki bean and sophora root. Powder them, take stirred into sour fermented millet water, and probe with a goose feather. — Uihak Gangmok 綱目 (Donguibogam · To)
Clinical commentary 臨床
輕劑, a light preparation, and neither medicinal is a true emetic — the vomiting is brought on by the feather. The chapter grades its formulas openly by force, and this is the mildest of them after Huiyeon-san. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
