Clinical commentary 臨床

Ten drugs and the shortest of the qi-regulating formulas, which makes it the clearest statement of the method: atractylodes and ginseng to build the qi, lindera and aquilaria to move it, gastrodia for the wind, and chaenomeles to reach the legs. No ephedra, no aconite, nothing forcing. For the patient months out from a stroke who is weak rather than ill, this is the most proportionate prescription in the chapter and the one most readily used today. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
