Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治纏喉風危急. 巴豆 七粒(三生四熟, 生者去殼生硏, 熟者去殼燈上燒存性), 乾桑黃茹 二片, 雄黃 一塊(細硏), 鬱金 一枚(硏). 右再硏細, 每服半字, 茶淸少許調下. 如口噤咽塞, 以竹管吹入喉中, 須臾吐利卽安矣. 《得效》
Translation
Treats wrapping throat wind in a critical case. Croton 7 kernels, three raw and four cooked — the raw shelled and ground raw, the cooked shelled and burnt over a lamp with the nature retained; dried mulberry bracket fungus 2 slices; a lump of realgar ground fine; one curcuma, ground. Grind them fine again and take half a ja a dose with a little clear tea. Where the jaw is clenched and the throat stopped, blow it into the throat through a bamboo tube; presently there is vomiting and purging and the patient is at ease. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Inhu)
