Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治風毒上攻, 頭面腫痒ㆍ痰涎壅塞ㆍ口乾ㆍ胸煩, 下疰腰脚腫痛ㆍ生瘡ㆍ大小便秘澁, 及癱瘓風. 川烏 二兩(以江水浸半月, 三日一換水, 切作片, 焙乾, 用鹽 一兩炒黃, 去鹽), 大黃ㆍ梔子ㆍ茯神ㆍ威靈仙ㆍ蔓荊子ㆍ益智ㆍ白茯苓ㆍ仙靈脾ㆍ天麻ㆍ白芷 各五錢, 香墨(燒醋淬, 細硏)ㆍ麝香 各一錢一字. 右爲末, 煉蜜搜和, 擣千杵, 旋圓芡實大, 用薄荷汁同溫酒化下二三丸. 《局方》
Translation
Treats wind toxin attacking upward with the head and face swollen and itching, phlegm drool congesting and blocking, a dry mouth and a vexed chest; and pouring downward into the loins and legs with swelling and pain, sores breaking out and stool and urine bound and rough; and paralytic wind. Aconite kusnezoffii, 2 nyang — steeped half a month in river water, the water changed every three days, then sliced, dried over a fire, stir-fried yellow with 1 nyang of salt and the salt discarded; rhubarb, gardenia, poria spirit, clematis, vitex fruit, alpinia, poria, epimedium, gastrodia and angelica dahurica, 5 don each; fragrant ink, burnt and quenched in vinegar and finely ground, and musk, 1 don and one ja each. Powder, mix with refined honey, pound a thousand strokes, roll into balls the size of a euryale seed, and dissolve two or three in mint juice with warm wine. — Taepyeong Hyeminhwajegukbang 局方 (Donguibogam · Pung)
