Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治産難日久血乾, 宜用此滑之. 臘月兎腦髓 一枚, 鼠內腎 一部, 母丁香ㆍ益母草 各一錢, 乳香 二錢半, 麝香 二分半. 右爲末, 兎髓和丸芡實大, 朱砂爲衣, 油紙裹, 陰乾, 每一丸, 醋湯化下, 卽産. 男左手女右手握藥出, 是驗. 《入門》
Translation
Treats a difficult birth long drawn out with the blood dried up; this should be used to make it slippery. One rabbit brain taken in the twelfth month; one rat's kidney; mother clove and motherwort 1 don each; frankincense 2 don 5 pun; musk 2 pun 5 ri. Powder them, bind with the rabbit brain into pills the size of a euryale seed, coat with cinnabar, wrap in oiled paper and dry in the shade; take one dissolved in vinegar decoction, and the birth follows.
