Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治九種心痛及心脾痛極驗. 詩曰, 草果ㆍ玄胡索ㆍ靈脂幷沒藥, 酒調三二錢, 一似手拈却. 《綱目》

Translation

Treats the nine kinds of heart pain and heart-and-spleen pain, proved most effective. The verse says: tsaoko, corydalis, flying-squirrel droppings together with myrrh, stirred into wine two or three don — it is as though picked off with the hand. — Uihak Gangmok 綱目 (Donguibogam · Hyung)

Clinical commentary 臨床

一似手拈却 — as though picked off with the fingers, which is where the name comes from. Four medicinals in a rhyming couplet so the formula could be carried in the head; corydalis is the one that does the work, and it is a genuine analgesic. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
