Translation

Treats piles of every kind. In the dog days of summer gather from still water the creature called the water-horse the long-legged one that skates about on the surface, thirty of them; put them in three paper packets of ten each and hang them in a shady place to dry. Each packet is one dose: grind it soft and take on an empty stomach stirred into warm wine, eating only a good while after. Three doses on three successive days, and it shows its effect within ten. For long-standing piles with pus and blood, twenty or thirty doses cut off the root. — Bibang 秘方 (Donguibogam · Hueum)
