Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治久痔ㆍ痔漏下膿血, 虛者服之神妙, 治痔之聖藥也. 蒼朮(泔浸) 一斤, 熟地黃 一斤, 五味子 八兩, 乾薑<span class='sochu'>秋冬一兩, 春七錢, 夏五錢</span>. 右爲末, 棗肉和丸梧子大, 空心米飮或溫酒下百丸. 《保命》
Translation
Treats long-standing piles and fistulous piles with pus and blood below; a vacuous patient taking it finds it divinely wonderful, and it is the sagely medicine for piles. Atractylodes lancea (rice-water steeped) 1 geun; cooked rehmannia 1 geun; schisandra 8 nyang; dried ginger <span class='sochu'>1 nyang in autumn and winter, 7 don in spring, 5 don in summer</span>. Powder them, bind with jujube flesh into pills the size of a firmiana seed, and take a hundred on an empty stomach with rice water or warm wine. — Bomyeongjip 保命 (Donguibogam · Hueum)
