Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治腎虛耳聾. 磁石(火煆醋柒七次)ㆍ附子(炮)ㆍ川椒(炒)ㆍ巴戟 各一兩. 右爲末, 用猪腎一枚細切, 葱白ㆍ韭白 各一錢, 入藥末 一錢, 鹽 一匙, 和勻, 濕紙裹煨熟取出, 空心細嚼, 溫酒送下. 十日見效. 《保命》
Translation
Treats kidney vacuity deafness. Loadstone (calcined in fire and quenched in vinegar seven times), aconite (blast-fried), Sichuan pepper (stir-fried) and morinda 1 nyang each. Powder them; take one pig's kidney cut fine with 1 don each of scallion white and leek white, add 1 don of the powder and a spoonful of salt, mix evenly, wrap in wet paper and roast until done; take it out, chew fine on an empty stomach and wash down with warm wine.
