Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治腎虛耳聾. 磁石(煆柒)ㆍ巴戟ㆍ川椒各一兩, 石菖蒲ㆍ沈香各五錢. 右爲末, 以猪腎一枚細切, 和以葱鹽幷藥末, 用濕紙十重裹煨令熟, 空心細嚼, 以酒下. 《直指》

Translation

Treats kidney vacuity deafness. Loadstone (calcined and vinegar-quenched), morinda and Sichuan pepper 1 nyang each; acorus and aloeswood 5 don each. Powder them; cut one pig's kidney fine, mix it with scallion, salt and the powder, wrap in ten layers of wet paper and roast until done; chew it fine on an empty stomach and wash it down with wine. — Jikji 直指 (Donguibogam · I)
