Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治傷暑吐瀉. 香薷一錢半, 白扁豆ㆍ厚朴ㆍ紫蘇葉ㆍ白朮ㆍ赤茯苓ㆍ藿香ㆍ木瓜ㆍ白檀香各一錢, 甘草五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服. 《局方》

Translation

Treats injury by summerheat with vomiting and diarrhoea. Elsholtzia, 1 don 5 fun; hyacinth bean, magnolia bark, perilla leaf, atractylodes, red poria, agastache, chaenomeles and sandalwood, 1 don each; licorice, 5 fun. Clinical commentary 臨床

Yukhwa-tang's near twin, and the differences are instructive: no ginseng, no pinellia, no apricot kernel, and in their place sandalwood, perilla leaf and atractylodes. That makes it purely aromatic and damp-transforming with nothing to supplement and nothing to stop vomiting directly — a milder formula for the same complaint, suited to the case that is uncomfortable rather than acutely ill.
