Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治努肉紅絲ㆍ紅白瞖障, 及白珠上有死血紅筋, 或上瞼胞腫如桃, 日夜疼痛昏暗. 黃連ㆍ黃芩ㆍ黃栢ㆍ梔子ㆍ連翹ㆍ薄荷ㆍ荊芥ㆍ柴胡ㆍ當歸ㆍ生地黃ㆍ地骨皮ㆍ天花粉ㆍ蔓荊子ㆍ甘菊ㆍ惡實ㆍ白蒺藜ㆍ草決明ㆍ石決明ㆍ枳殼ㆍ甘草各五分. 右剉作一貼, 水煎, 食後服. 《醫鑑》

Translation

Treats proud flesh with red threads, red and white screens, dead blood and red sinews on the white of the eye, or the upper lid swollen like a peach with pain day and night and dimness. Coptis, scutellaria, phellodendron, gardenia, forsythia, mint, schizonepeta, bupleurum, Korean angelica, raw rehmannia, lycium root bark, trichosanthes root, vitex, chrysanthemum, burdock seed, tribulus, cassia seed, abalone shell, bitter orange and licorice 5 pun each. Twenty medicinals at five pun each — the Uigam's broadest eye formula, with the three yellows at the head and the whole cassia-and-horsetail group under them.
