Translation

Treats wind millet breeding on the lid. Rhubarb roasted in ashes and schizonepeta spikes 2 don each; burdock seed and licorice 1 don each. Cut up and decoct in water. It is also called the Supplemented Schizonepeta and Rhubarb Decoction. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · An)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Four medicinals, rhubarb roasted in ashes so that it drains without griping. Millet-like granules on the inner lid are trachoma follicles, and the chapter's treatment of them is to drain the heat downward and vent it out — which is as much as could be done before the lid was everted and the follicles expressed, a procedure the Bogam describes elsewhere. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
