Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
消食, 消酒, 消水, 消氣, 消痞, 消脹, 消腫, 消積, 消痛. 此藥消而不見, 嚮而不動, 其功甚捷. 黑丑(炒頭末) 二兩, 香附(炒)ㆍ五靈脂 各一兩. 右爲末, 醋糊和丸菉豆大, 薑湯呑下二三十丸. 《醫鑑》
Translation
Disperses food, disperses wine, disperses water, disperses Qi, disperses glomus, disperses distension, disperses swelling, disperses accumulation, disperses pain. This medicine disperses without being seen and resounds without stirring — its accomplishment is exceedingly swift. Black morning-glory seed (fried, the head-powder taken) 2 nyang; dry-fried cyperus and flying-squirrel droppings, 1 nyang each.
