Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治乳癰及妳巖神效. 黃瓜蔞(大者) 一箇(去皮焙爲末, 子多者有力), 甘草(生)ㆍ當歸(酒浸焙) 各五錢, 乳香ㆍ沒藥(幷另硏) 各二錢半. 右爲末, 好酒三升於銀石器內, 慢火熬至一升半, 去滓分作三服, 食後良久服之. 如妳巖服此, 可使絶病根. 如毒氣已成, 能化膿爲黃水; 毒未成, 則卽於大小便中通利. 病甚則再合服, 以差爲度. 《精要》 一方, 酒水各半煎服. 《入門》
Translation
Treats breast abscess and breast rock — divinely effective. One large ripe trichosanthes (skinned, baked and powdered; the kind with many seeds has more strength); raw licorice and angelica (wine-steeped and baked) 5 don each; frankincense and myrrh (each ground separately) 2 don 5 pun each. Powder them and simmer over a slow fire in three seung of good wine in a silver or stone vessel down to one and a half seung; strain off the dregs, divide into three doses and take a good while after food. Taken for breast rock it can cut off the root of the disease. Where the toxic qi has already formed, it can turn the pus to yellow water; where it has not yet formed, it frees it out in the stool and urine.
