Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治乳癰初起神效. 黃瓜蔞 一箇(去皮硏爛), 甘草 五錢, 沒藥 二錢半. 右麤末, 好酒二椀煎至一椀, 分二服, 重者再服, 以差爲度. 或加當歸ㆍ白芷ㆍ乳香亦妙. 如要宣毒, 加皂角刺. 《直指》
Translation
Treats breast abscess at its first rising — divinely effective. One ripe trichosanthes (skinned and ground to a pulp); licorice 5 don; myrrh 2 don 5 pun. Grind coarse and boil in two wan of good wine down to one; take in two doses, and in a severe case take it again until cured. Angelica, angelica dahurica and frankincense may be added, which is also excellent; if the toxin is to be diffused, add gleditsia thorn. — Jikji 直指 (Donguibogam · Yu)
