Translation

Treats the scrotum suddenly swollen large, mostly from sitting on the ground and meeting wind-damp, or from an insect having blown upon it. Cicada slough 5 don, boiled in water; wash the swollen place with it two or three times. Take Oryeong-san combined with Samsan-tang, as in the method above. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · Jeoneum)

Clinical commentary 臨床

One medicinal, used as a wash. The aetiology is worth more than the drug: sitting on bare ground, or an insect that has blown on the skin — a sudden swelling with an outside cause, treated from outside, while the internal formulas carry on underneath. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
