Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

上可治呑酸, 下可治自利. 六一散一兩<span class='sochu'>方見暑門</span>, 入吳茱萸一兩. 右爲末, 飯丸服. 《丹心》

Translation

Above it can treat acid swallowing; below it can treat spontaneous diarrhoea. Six to One Powder 1 nyang <span class='sochu'>formula in the Summerheat chapter</span> with 1 nyang of evodia added. Powder them, make rice pills and take. — Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · Naesang)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Two things at once, stated in the indication: acid above and diarrhoea below. Yugil-san is cold and percolating and handles the lower half; evodia is hot and handles the upper.
