Translation

Treats dim eyes. Korean angelica, chuanxiong, prepared rehmannia, white peony, lycium fruit, raspberry, broomcorn seed, cuscuta and plantago seed in equal parts. Pound and powder them, make honey pills the size of parasol-tree seeds, and take fifty to seventy on an empty stomach with salt decoction. — (Donguibogam · An)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Samul-tang and five seeds, named exactly for what it is — the chapter's simplest statement of its two organizing ideas put together. No citation is given, which in the Bogam usually means the compilers assembled it themselves. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
