Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治天行暴寒, 熱伏於內, 咳嗽不得息, 喉瘂失聲, 或乾嗽無唾, 喉中如梗. 半夏 二錢, 杏仁ㆍ陳皮ㆍ桂心ㆍ枳實 各一錢, 射干ㆍ當歸ㆍ獨活ㆍ麻黃ㆍ紫菀ㆍ甘草 各五分. 右剉, 作一貼, 薑 五片, 水煎服. 《仲景》
Translation
Treats a seasonal epidemic with sudden cold, heat lurking within, coughing without rest, a mute throat and lost voice, or a dry cough with no spittle and the throat as if blocked. Pinellia 2 don; apricot kernel, tangerine peel, cinnamon heartwood and immature bitter orange 1 don each; belamcanda, angelica, pubescent angelica, ephedra, aster and licorice 5 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, add 5 slices of ginger, decoct in water and take. — Junggyeong 仲景 (Donguibogam · Seongeum)
