Clinical commentary 臨床

A child's gan is malnutrition with heat, and sparrow eye in a gan child is the start of the corneal melting that blinds. Bat droppings run through all three of this chapter's night-blindness formulas, and the reason is the same as the liver's: the droppings are largely insect remains, and vitamin A is in them. The toad's head and the scorpions are for the gan rather than the eye. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
