Translation
Treats wind cold toothache. Angelica, chuanxiong, asarum, angelica dahurica, long pepper, ligusticum and hornet's nest 1 don each. Cut up, decoct in water and take, and also hold it in the mouth, rinse and spit it out. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Ahchi)
Clinical commentary 臨床
Swallowed and rinsed with from the same cup. 4.9 describes what it answers: the gum neither swollen nor decayed, and the tooth working loose a little more each day — which is the picture of a cold-sensitive tooth with a receding gum. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
