Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

素慣半産者宜服之, 養血淸熱. 當歸ㆍ川芎ㆍ條芩ㆍ白芍藥各一兩, 白朮五錢. 右爲末, 酒糊和丸梧子大, 茶湯任下五七十丸. 《回春》

Translation

One habitually given to miscarriage should take it; it nourishes blood and clears heat. Angelica, chuanxiong, slender scutellaria and white peony 1 nyang each; white atractylodes 5 don. Powder them, make pills with wine paste the size of a firmiana seed, and take fifty to seventy down with tea decoction as preferred. — Manbyeong Hoechun 回春 (Donguibogam · Buin)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The same five medicinals as the preceding formula with the white atractylodes halved. The Hoechun leans further toward the blood group and away from the spleen, which suits a thinner patient. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
