Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
內經曰, 頭痛巓疾, 下虛上實, 過在足少陰巨陽, 甚則入腎. 許學士曰, 腎厥頭痛也, 此藥主之. 硫黃 二兩, 石膏(煆)ㆍ半夏(製)ㆍ硝石 各一兩. 右爲末, 薑汁糊和丸梧子大, 陰乾, 每二三十丸, 薑湯或米飮下. 《綱目》
Translation
The Neijing says: headache and vertex disease, with vacuity below and repletion above, the fault lying in the foot lesser yin and the greater yang, and at worst entering the kidney. Xu Shuwei said: it is kidney reversal headache, and this medicine governs it. Sulphur 2 nyang; gypsum (calcined), pinellia (processed) and saltpetre 1 nyang each. Powder them, bind with ginger-juice paste into pills the size of a firmiana seed and dry in the shade; take twenty or thirty with ginger decoction or rice water. — Uihak Gangmok 綱目 (Donguibogam · Du)
