Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治十六般內障多年昏暗. 密蒙花二兩, 羚羊角ㆍ蠐螬(卽桑蠹也)ㆍ人參ㆍ覆盆子ㆍ地膚子ㆍ枸杞子ㆍ甘草各一兩, 茺蔚子ㆍ菥蓂子ㆍ甘菊ㆍ槐花各五錢. 右爲末, 每二錢, 米飮調下. 《得效》

Translation

Treats the sixteen kinds of internal obstruction with dimness of many years. Buddleia flower 2 nyang; antelope horn, beetle grub (that is, the mulberry borer), ginseng, raspberry, broomcorn seed, lycium fruit and licorice 1 nyang each; leonurus seed, thlaspi seed, chrysanthemum and sophora flower 5 don each. Powder them and take 2 don at a time stirred into rice water. — Seui Deukhyobang 得效 (Donguibogam · An)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The formula that gives buddleia its place in the eye pharmacy, and the Bogam glosses the grub for the reader — 桑蠹, the mulberry borer — which tells you it was already an unfamiliar drug.
