Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治同上. 地膚子ㆍ車前子各一錢半, 知母ㆍ黃芩ㆍ枳殼ㆍ赤茯苓ㆍ白芍藥各一錢, 升麻ㆍ通草ㆍ甘草各七分. 右剉作一貼, 水煎服. 《正傳》

Translation

Treats the same as above. Kochia and plantago seed 1 don 5 pun each; anemarrhena, scutellaria, bitter orange, red poria and white peony 1 don each; cimicifuga, tetrapanax and licorice 7 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and take. — Jeongjeon 正傳 (Donguibogam · Buin)

Clinical commentary 臨床

Cimicifuga in a formula that drains downward is the detail worth noting.
