Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治諸癎. 雄黃(熬)ㆍ眞珠(另硏) 各一兩, 鈆三兩ㆍ水銀二錢半(同鈆熬結砂子), 朱砂(水飛) 五錢. 右再硏極細, 麵糊和丸麻子大, 薄荷湯下三四丸. 《正傳》

Translation

Treats all the epilepsies. Realgar (boiled down) and pearl (ground separately), 1 nyang each; lead, 3 nyang, and quicksilver, 2 don 5 fun (boiled down with the lead until it granulates); cinnabar (water-ground), 5 don. Grind them again extremely fine, make pills the size of a hemp seed with wheat-flour paste, and take three or four with mint decoction. — Jeongjeon 正傳 (Donguibogam · Sin)

Clinical commentary 臨床

**This must not be prepared.** Three nyang of lead amalgamated with mercury, with realgar and cinnabar — and the pills are the size of a hemp seed, which is the size made for children.
