Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
專治鬱痰, 老痰, 膠固稠粘, 難於咯唾. 天門冬ㆍ片芩(酒炒)ㆍ瓜蔞仁ㆍ橘紅ㆍ海粉 各一兩, 芒硝ㆍ香附子(鹽水炒)ㆍ䓀莄ㆍ連翹 各五錢, 靑黛 二錢. 右爲末, 煉蜜, 入薑汁少許, 和丸櫻桃大, 細嚼一丸, 淸湯送下. 或如黍米大, 淡薑湯下五七十丸. 《雜著》
Translation
Specifically treats depressed phlegm and old phlegm, gluey and hard to bring up. Asparagus, scutellaria (broad lamina, wine-fried), trichosanthes seed, red tangerine peel and sea hare egg mass 1 nyang each; mirabilite, cyperus (salt-water fried), platycodon and forsythia 5 don each; indigo 2 don. Powder them, work into refined honey with a little ginger juice, and form pills the size of a cherry; chew one thoroughly and send it down with clear broth.
