Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治産後泄瀉, 惡露不行, 此餘血滲入大腸, 爲瀉下靑黑色物, 是驗. 大荊芥穗, 於盞內然火燒存性, 不得犯油火, 入麝香少許, 硏爲末, 每取一錢, 沸湯一二呷調服, 神效. 《得效》
Translation
Treats diarrhoea after delivery where the lochia does not flow — the remaining blood has seeped into the large intestine, and that what is passed is green-black is the proof.
