Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治腸澼下血色紫黑, 腹痛惡寒, 右關脈按之無力, 喜熱物熨之, 內寒明矣. 白芍藥一錢半, 當歸ㆍ黃芪ㆍ升麻ㆍ甘草(灸) 各一錢, 牡丹皮ㆍ柴胡ㆍ葛根ㆍ益智ㆍ半夏各五分, 桂枝四分, 肉桂ㆍ乾薑(炮) 各二分. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服. 《東垣》

Translation

Treats intestinal flux with bleeding purple-black in colour, the abdomen painful with aversion to cold, the right bar pulse weak under the finger, and a liking for warm things pressed on it — the cold within is plain. White peony 1 don 5 pun; angelica, astragalus, cimicifuga and licorice (mix-fried) 1 don each; tree peony bark, bupleurum, pueraria, alpinia oxyphylla and pinellia 5 pun each; cinnamon twig 4 pun; cinnamon and dried ginger (blast-fried) 2 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and take. — Dongwon 東垣 (Donguibogam · Huieum)

Clinical commentary 臨床
