Treats stomach heat with sweat pouring like rain after eating. Raw licorice, mix-fried licorice, schisandra and mume flesh in equal parts. Cut up; for each 5 don, add 2 slices of ginger and 2 jujubes, decoct in water and take. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Jinaek)
Clinical commentary 臨床
食後汗出如雨 — sweat like rain after eating. Gustatory sweating, and the Immun treats it with licorice both ways and two sour things to gather — the Heart chapter's 3.11 rule that the heart, whose fluid is sweat, is held with sourness. — Eui Young (Justin) Chung, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
