Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治咽喉腫痛, 語聲不出, 嚥之甚妙. 桔梗二兩, 甘草一兩, 荊芥穗五錢. 右爲麤末, 每取四錢, 入薑三片, 水煎服. 《三因》

Translation

Treats the throat swollen and painful with the voice not coming out; swallowing it is excellent. Platycodon 2 nyang; licorice 1 nyang; schizonepeta spike 5 don. Grind coarse and take 4 don at a time with 3 slices of ginger, decocted in water. — Samin 三因 (Donguibogam · Inhu)
