Tangerine and Coptis Unripe Bitter Orange and Atractylodes Pill
Gyullyeonjichul-hwan
한글 귤련지출환 · Pinyin Ju Lian Zhi Zhu Wan
Powdered and bound with a rice paste beaten in lotus-leaf decoction into pills the size of parasol-tree seeds; taken as Jichul-hwan. Fang Guang's own accounting is appended: Yilao took supplementing-much and dispersing-little; Dongyuan's added peel made supplement and dispersal equal halves; 'I use atractylodes 3 nyang with bitter orange, peel, and coptis 1 nyang each — supplementing much, dispersing little, and clearing heat besides.' The Dansim adds a refinement on the binder: wrapping rice in the lotus leaf may not draw out the leaf's full flavor — better to boil the leaf into gruel and use that.

Translation
Supplements the spleen, harmonizes the stomach, disperses food, transforms phlegm, and drains fire. White atractylodes 3 nyang; bran-fried unripe bitter orange, tangerine peel, and wine-soaked-fried coptis, 1 nyang each. Powder the above, beat a rice paste in lotus-leaf decoction, bind into pills the size of parasol-tree seeds, and take as above. — Zhang Yilao took white atractylodes 2 nyang to supplement the spleen and bitter orange 1 nyang to disperse glomus — supplementing much and dispersing little. With Dongyuan, tangerine peel 1 nyang was added to harmonize the stomach — then supplement and dispersal stood half and half. I use atractylodes 3 nyang with bitter orange, peel, and coptis 1 nyang each — supplementing much and dispersing little, and clearing heat besides. — Bang Gwang 方廣 (Donguibogam · Naesang)
