Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治懷孕, 氣血虛弱, 不能榮養, 以致胎漏, 每數月而墮. 黃芪ㆍ當歸ㆍ白朮ㆍ杜沖ㆍ白芍藥各一錢, 乾薑ㆍ阿膠珠ㆍ川芎ㆍ五味子ㆍ木香ㆍ人參ㆍ甘草各五分. 右剉作一貼, 水煎服. 《入門》一方無木香. 《正傳》

Translation

Treats a pregnancy where qi and blood are weak and cannot nourish, bringing uterine spotting and miscarriage every few months. Astragalus, angelica, white atractylodes, eucommia and white peony 1 don each; dry ginger, ass-hide glue beads, chuanxiong, schisandra, costus, ginseng and licorice 5 pun each. Cut up, make one packet, decoct in water and take. One version has no costus. — Uihak Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Buin)

每數月而墮 — miscarrying every few months — describes recurrent loss at a consistent stage, and the chapter reads it as qi and blood too weak to sustain rather than as heat or as obstruction.
