Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治懷孕四五月, 常墮不安者, 內熱甚故也. 子芩三錢, 白朮一錢半. 右剉, 作一貼, 水煎服.

Translation

Treats one who, in the fourth and fifth months of pregnancy, habitually loses it and is unquiet — this being because the internal heat is severe. Young scutellaria 3 don; white atractylodes 1.5 don. Cut the pair, make one packet, decoct in water and take. — Donguibogam · Buin

The classical fetus-quieting pair by itself, at two to one, and the indication explains the proportion: where losses recur in the fourth and fifth months, the chapter reads severe internal heat as the cause, so scutellaria leads and atractylodes supports.
