Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
淸聲潤肺, 止咳嗽, 爽氣寧神. 白砂糖 八兩, 薄荷葉 四兩, 枾霜 四兩, 玄明粉ㆍ硼砂ㆍ寒水石ㆍ烏梅肉 各五錢, 片腦 五分. 右爲末, 甘草水熬成膏和丸咯實大, 每一丸夜化, 茶湯下. 《回春》
Translation
Clears the voice and moistens the lung, stops cough, frees the qi and quiets the spirit. White sugar 8 nyang; mint leaf 4 nyang; persimmon frost 4 nyang; mirabilite powder, borax, glauberite and mume flesh 5 don each; borneol 5 pun. Powder them, boil licorice water down to a paste and bind into pills the size of a euryale seed; let one melt overnight in the mouth and take it down with tea. — Manbyeong Hoechun 回春 (Donguibogam · Seongeum)
