Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治因謳歌失音. 薄荷 四兩, 連翹ㆍ桔梗ㆍ甘草 各二兩半, 百藥煎 二兩, 川芎 一兩半, 縮砂ㆍ訶子(炒)ㆍ大黃(酒炒) 各一兩. 右爲末, 鷄子淸和丸彈子大, 每一丸, 臨臥夜化嚥下. 《回春》
Translation
Treats loss of voice from singing. Mint 4 nyang; forsythia, platycodon and licorice 2 nyang 5 don each; gallnut ferment 2 nyang; chuanxiong 1 nyang 5 don; amomum, chebula (stir-fried) and rhubarb (wine-fried) 1 nyang each. Powder them, bind with egg white into pills the size of a bullet, and take one at bedtime, letting it melt overnight and swallowing. — Manbyeong Hoechun 回春 (Donguibogam · Seongeum)
