Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治咳嗽聲音不出. 訶子皮三錢(半生半炒), 桔梗五錢(半生半炒), 甘草二錢半(半生半炒), 木通三錢. 右剉, 分二貼, 每一貼水煎去滓, 入生地黃汁一小盞, 臨臥嚥下. 《丹心》

Translation

Treats cough with the voice not coming out. Chebula rind 3 don (half raw and half fried); platycodon 5 don (half raw and half fried); licorice 2 don 5 pun (half raw and half fried); akebia 3 don. Cut up and divide into two packets; for each, decoct in water, strain off the dregs, add a small jan of fresh rehmannia juice, and swallow at bedtime. — Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · Seongeum)
