Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治脚氣, 因食積流注, 心下痞悶. 陳皮ㆍ白朮ㆍ澤瀉ㆍ茯苓ㆍ神麴ㆍ麥芽ㆍ半夏(薑製) 各一兩, 枳實ㆍ靑皮ㆍ乾薑 各五錢, 巴豆霜 一錢半. 右爲末, 蒸餠和丸梧子大, 溫水下五七十丸. 《寶鑑》 ○一名開鬱導飮丸. 《丹心》

Translation

Treats leg qi arising from food accumulation pouring downward, with glomus and oppression below the heart. Tangerine peel, white atractylodes, alisma, poria, medicated leaven, barley sprout, and ginger-processed pinellia, 1 nyang each; unripe bitter orange, green tangerine peel, and dried ginger, 5 don each; croton frost 1 don 5 fun. Powder the above and bind with steamed cake into pills the size of parasol-tree seeds; take 50–70 pills with warm water. Also called Gaeuldoeum-hwan. — Bogam 寶鑑 · Dansim 丹心 (Donguibogam · Jok)

Clinical commentary 臨床

The one leg qi formula built on a digestive base — the Five Poria and food-moving herbs, with a small measure of croton frost to force the passage. Its indication ties the legs to the epigastrium, which is the chapter's food-accumulation route: what will not move above pours down below.
