Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

伐心經之火, 兼治酒熱. 黃連(酒炒或薑汁炒). 右爲末, 粥丸, 白湯呑下二三十丸. 一名黃連丸. 《丹心》 《入門》

Translation

Fells the fire of the Heart channel, and treats wine heat besides. Coptis, fried moistened with wine or ginger juice, is powdered and bound with gruel into pills; swallow 20–30 with plain boiled water. Also called Hwangryeon-hwan. — Dansim 丹心 · Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Hwa)

Clinical commentary 臨床
