Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑
治癲癎愈而復發, 作止無常. 黃芪ㆍ釣鉤藤ㆍ細辛ㆍ甘草 各五錢, 蛇退 一條(燒存性), 蟬退 全者 四枚, 牛黃 一字. 右爲末, 棗肉爲丸梧子大, 小兒菉豆大, 每二十丸人參湯呑下. 《入門》
Translation
Treats withdrawal-epilepsy that has healed and broken out again, coming and stopping without pattern. Astragalus, uncaria, asarum and licorice, 5 don each; a snake's slough, one whole (burnt with its nature preserved); cicada sloughs, four whole ones; bezoar, 1 ja. Powder them, make pills with jujube flesh the size of a firmiana seed, or of a mung bean for a child, and swallow twenty with ginseng decoction. — Immun 入門 (Donguibogam · Sin)
