Donguibogam 東醫寶鑑

治胎動不安, 腰痛搶心, 或下血. 葱白濃煮汁飮之. 主安胎, 若胎死, 卽出. 《海藏》

Translation

Treats foetal stirring and unrest, with lumbar pain and a snatching at the heart, or bleeding. Boil scallion white thick and drink the liquor. It governs the quieting of the foetus; and if the foetus is dead, it comes out at once. — Haejang 海藏 (Donguibogam · Buin)

Clinical commentary 臨床

One medicinal with two opposite outcomes according to what is there — it settles a living foetus and expels a dead one.
